Exvolve Ltd is the data controller for this website. We are registered in England and Wales under company number 14528680.

This policy covers the exvolve.com website only. It does not cover separate products or sites we link to, which publish their own policies. We handle personal data under the UK GDPR and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), as amended by the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025.

We do not ask you to create an account and this site has no contact form. Personal data reaches us in three ways.

• Analytics measurement. Google Analytics 4 records the pages you view, roughly where you are in the world, and what kind of device and browser you use. It assigns your browser a random identifier so repeat visits can be counted as one visitor rather than several.
• Live chat. If you open the chat widget and send a message, Crisp stores the conversation along with your IP address and anything you choose to tell us, such as your name or email address.
• Bookings. The calendar on our contact page is operated by Cal.com. If you book a call, Cal.com collects the details you enter into it and passes them to us.

Our hosting and content delivery providers also keep short-term server logs, which include IP addresses, as a normal part of serving and protecting the site.

With your permission, this site can store four things on your device — and nothing at all until you allow it. Google Analytics sets two cookies, both beginning _ga. Crisp sets one cookie and two local storage entries, all under a crisp-client/session key.

Nothing here is used for advertising, and we do not sell or share this data with advertisers or data brokers.

Durations above are the defaults published by Google and Crisp. Your browser may cut them short on its own: Chrome caps cookie lifetimes at 400 days, and Safari can reduce them to 7 days.

You choose which of these to allow when you first visit, and you can change your mind whenever you like:

Turning a category off deletes what it has already stored.

Every browser can block or delete cookies and local storage for a single site. In Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge this sits under privacy or site settings, usually as an option to clear or block data for exvolve.com. Doing that removes all four items listed above.

For analytics specifically, Google publishes a browser add-on that stops Google Analytics collecting data on any site, available at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

For the chat, blocking cookies for this site stops the session cookie being kept. If you have already sent us a message and want the conversation deleted, email us and we will remove it.

For analytics and for keeping the chat widget functioning, our lawful basis under the UK GDPR is legitimate interests: we need a basic picture of how the site is used, and the chat needs to remember your conversation to be of any use. We have weighed that against the low sensitivity of the data involved. You can object to it at any time.

If you send us a chat message or book a call, we handle what you tell us on the basis of taking steps at your request and our legitimate interest in replying to enquiries.

Analytics data is held inside Google Analytics under the retention period configured on our property, after which Google deletes the user-level records. Chat conversations are kept in Crisp for as long as they remain useful for supporting you, and are deleted on request. Booking details are kept for as long as we are in conversation with you about the work.

You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, ask us to restrict what we do with it, object to our use of it, or ask for it in a portable format. We will respond within one month.

When we change what this site collects or stores, we update this page and the date at the top of it.
